Thundercats: Cheetara
I sketched this a while back practicing profiles. I thought I would make it fun and sketch a Thundercat, lol. Whatever happened to the good old cartoons?"Thundercats are on the move, Thundercats are loose. Feel the magic, hear the roar, thundercats are loose" hahaha, good times.
(500) Days of Summer
Im sorry if anyone saw "(500) Days of Summer" ... and liked it. I wont rip on it, because it really wasn't all that bad. It had it's moments, and thank goodness for Autumn... right? =P Anyways, this is my interpretation of the movie. The bombs are from Summer Finn. The Heart is obviously Tom Hansen. Autumn is what's in the future. Love hurts. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger though... right?
The Happy Goldfish
This design is for a friend, Chelsey Liu, from Taiwan. I was curious what animal Chelsey thought she portrayed. She started laughing and told me to draw her as a goldfish. Chelsey is always happy, smiling, or laughing about something. Hence "The Happy Goldfish.
The Happy Goldfish or Chelsey lives in a small oasis in the middle of the Provo desert. She has only the coolest of friends, all of which are real, crazy, and fun. In this desert though, every once in a while a "fakey" comes in. Fakeys try to make friends by dressing like everyone else, saying what other people want to hear, and acting like how other fakeys stereotype "cool" as. The Goldfish is well aware of these lures. The Happy Goldfish smiles and just keeps swimming to the party with her friends
Hoefler - Type Specimen
This was one of the first projects I did in my graphic design program. I chose "Hoefler" because of the cool ornaments section... I had no idea what a type specimen even was!? Basically it's a book or booklet of what a font is capable of. Every single design you see including the cover and the background designs on the other pages are made from the Hoefler font. It's an awesome font.
The Bachelors
The Bachelors. From Left to right; Paul, the nerd, Me, the dreamer, and David McCombs, the ping pong master. When Paul was in highschool in Hawaii he wouldn't cut his hair till he got his braces off. He obviously had them on for a while... oh ya, and he's a nerd, an electrical engineer nerd. We'll all be begging him for money one day. I'm Superman, what more can I say, bahaha. Then there's David, and he is freaking amazing at ping pong! We are thee bachelors of Provo Utah.

This was a quick sketch I did years ago and forgot about. I found it in an old sketch book. I think it was a sketch I did in an airport coming from or going to Hawaii, home. I thought I would just do a simple illustrator piece. I like the feel of it. I miss home.
