The Happy Goldfish

This design is for a friend, Chelsey Liu, from Taiwan. I was curious what animal Chelsey thought she portrayed. She started laughing and told me to draw her as a goldfish. Chelsey is always happy, smiling, or laughing about something. Hence "The Happy Goldfish.

The Happy Goldfish or Chelsey lives in a small oasis in the middle of the Provo desert. She has only the coolest of friends, all of which are real, crazy, and fun. In this desert though, every once in a while a "fakey" comes in. Fakeys try to make friends by dressing like everyone else, saying what other people want to hear, and acting like how other fakeys stereotype "cool" as. The Goldfish is well aware of these lures. The Happy Goldfish smiles and just keeps swimming to the party with her friends
